We began accumulating the WisdomTree U.S. SmallCap Earnings Fund (EES) today. Folks, you’ve gotta buy this stuff when it’s on sale.
We sold our holdings in IJR to buy EES. There’s nothing wrong with holding IJR long -term in my opinion; we’re just moving our small cap blend holdings to EES because it is offered at my brokerage commission free.
We had a 5% trailing stop set on our position in the iShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF (IJR). The stop tripped today and closed the positon. Price paid $56.20. Price sold $76.48. I don’t see any problem holding IJR long-term; we are simply moving these funds to another small cap blend ETF that is offered commission free at my brokerage. (EES)
