Closed Our Position In The Energy ETF (PXI) 5-23-18

We closed our position in the PowerShares DWA Energy Momentum Portfolio (PXI) today. I don’t foresee any problems with this ETF; we’ve just decided that we would only own one Energy equity ETF. We have chosen to keep our holdings in XLE and let go of these shares of PXI. Both are equally good, but very different Energy ETFs. Price paid $36.15. Price sold $44.26. Continuing To Trim Fat Off Our Energy Equities (PXI) 1-3-2018

We are continuing to trim fat from our Energy Equities. We remain invested in the PowerShares DWA Energy Momentum Portfolio (PXI : $PXI.) Price paid $36.15. Price sold $40.68.

For those who are new to the Deep Value ETF Accumulator website, you may be wondering why we are selling shares of PXI instead of XLE, which is listed on the daily list. Well, the reason behind that is, I could not decide between XLE & PXI when I was accumulating shares, so we accumulated both. For now, we are going to continue holding both, but eventually we will divest from one or the other, but not both.

Additionally, I wrote an article specifically about PXI right here: Looking Under the Hood of the PowerShares DWA Energy Momentum Portfolio ETF (PXI) $PXI

Trimmed Some Fat Off Our Energy Equities Today (PXI) 12-26-17
