I’ve been drinking and sampling different types and grinds of coffees for over 30 years. By far, my favorite type of coffee is 100% Colombian. I do like just about any brand of 100% Colombian, but Kirkland has the competition beat on taste and value.
I own a high-end burr coffee grinder and I’ve tried numerous types of beans in it and experimented with the fine to course settings, but I simply cannot match the consistency of great flavor you get from Kirkland’s Colombian coffee. Bonus, it’s already ground and ready to go.
Not only is Kirkland’s 100% Colombian Coffee consistently great tasting, it is a great value. The cost of the 3 pound can pictured above costs about $12 in my local Three Bears Grocery store or about $4/lb. if you buy your coffee by the pound. Your price might be cheaper if you can get it directly from Costco or you live in a lower cost of living area. In addition to being value priced, it is also ground finer than most canned coffees, so you might save a little more by using a little less.
This coffee is stronger than regular grind coffee. I typically use 1/2 cup of regular coffee grounds for a large pot of coffee; with the Kirkland fine grind I use a just a bit more than 1/3 cup to achieve the same strength of coffee. So, go easy on your first pot.
I drink coffee every day. It’s not a huge expense in my life, but who doesn’t like to save money on the stuff they use every day? I have found that Kirkland’s 100% Colombian Coffee is the best value and best tasting coffee available in the supermarket coffee aisle. I think you might agree. Check it out.
