Over the years, I’ve unfortunately put up with some cheap, low-quality tools. Fortunately for you, you don’t have to go through the hassle of replacing junky tools, if you buy the best in the first place. Klein is probably the best screwdriver manufacturer in the world. They do some kind of magic to the tips to make them stronger and last longer.
I’ve owned my Klein 11-in-1 Multi-Bit Screwdriver (32500) for about 2 years now. I’m a maintenance man by trade, so having reliable and durable tools is extremely important to me. One of my coworkers recommended this particular screwdriver when I first got hired on with this company. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the maintenance world, it’s that when a more seasoned gray-haired maintainer recommends a good tool for the job, you listen. The old man’ advice turned out to be great advice. I use this screwdriver multiple times every day on the job and around the house.
I took a few pictures of my own and I was going to explain all the features of this screwdriver, but I found the pictures and details from the Klein website to be far superior to mine. So, here are the pertinents and such on the Klein 11-in-1 Multi-Bit Screwdriver / Nut Driver, Multi-Purpose (32500):
- Integrated screwdriver and nut driver shaft holds 8 popular tips and converts to 3 nut driver sizes
- Includes industrial strength heat treated bits: 3/8-Inch, 5/16-Inch and 1/4-Inch nut drivers, #1 and #2 Phillips, 1/4-Inch and 3/16-Inch slotted, T10 and T15 TORX, and #1 and #2 square recess
- Interchangeable blade for fast and easy switch out; comfortable Cushion-Grip handle
- Blast finish bit tips provide a firm hold and reduce cam-out; Search Cat. No. 32526 for a full set of replacement bits
- The following replacement bits are available: see Cat. No. 32482 (#1 Phillips and 3/16-Inch Slotted), Cat. No. 32483 (#2 Phillips and 1/4-Inch Slotted), Cat. No. 32484 (#1 Square and #2 Square), and Cat. No. 32485 (T10 TORX and T15 TORX)

- Assembled in USA of US and imported components
You can buy a Klein 11-in-1 Multi-Bit Screwdriver / Nut Driver, Multi-Purpose (32500) at your local hardware store or online for about $15. I did a quick internet search for some cheaper multi-bit screwdrivers and found a few for about $7. Do yourself a favor and skip the trap of cheap tools. They’ll just piss you off in the long run. Buy quality & value the first time ’round.
